Located in Central, the heart of Hong Kong’s Finance and Restaurant district, Sketch represents originality and attention to detail with a hands-on approach to all projects, each project is overseen and driven by a director, from concept to completion.

We enjoy the challenge of working on new build or refurbishment projects, to date we have been involved in Casino, Restaurant, Bars, Marine and Hospitality projects including an Opera House. We have worked with various hospitality groups such as Intercontinental Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Hilton across Asia.

Sketch is fronted by founder, David Buffery who assumes responsibility for all aspects of the company’s operations and projects, generally David is involved from planning to completion normally fronting the project at the crucial, design concept and planning phases and taking a more overseeing role during the design development and documentation phases.

Director, Shirley Kwong is the creative inspiration behind many of the projects, creating unique conceptual schemes drawing on her passion for fashion and all things eclectic. Shirley is also responsible for the FF&E documentation, site dressing out and accessorizing.

Sketch also provides the following services;

Artwork selection. Sketch can provide specific artwork selections with selected mounts and frames with specific locations within the interior space to a given budget.

Accessorizing services. We can work to a specified budget and provide the finishing touches to the completed areas through the selection of objet d’art.

Graphics & Signage. These two elements are integral to the interior design of any completed space. We provide themed menu designs, logos and in-room stationery. Signage should be informative and fully coordinate with the interior.

Uniform Design. Working with a nominated supplier we can draw upon our collective fashion experience and provide a uniform concept which ties in with the interior theme.

• Crowne Plaza, Jaipur, India.
Located in the state of Rajasthan the 230 hotel is set in its own landscaped surroundings incorporating an All Day Dining Restaurant, Chinese Specialty Restaurant, Destination bar, Conference Suites, Ballroom and pool Villas.

• Holiday Inn, Chennai, India.
Set in a new purpose built retail and office complex the hotel caters for the business traveller in this rapidly developing region. The 200 key Hotel comprises of 2 F&B outlets, Bar, conference facilities and serviced apartments for long stay guests.

• Bamboo Garden Hotel, Zuhai, PRC.
Working with an International Consultant Team we are involved in the conversion of an existing hotel into a new branded product emphasising the sustainability of the construction material and the eco friendly operations of the hotel. This 280 key outlet included 2 F&B restaurants, Bar Lounge, Health Club and 2 Duplex Loft apartments with roof deck.

Conceptual Design for a 5 star hotel with 360 guestrooms, All day Dining, Bar, Japanese and Chinese Restaurant, 900 seat Ballroom, Conference facilities and Spa.

• Galaxy Resort Casino & Hotel, Cotai, Macau.
Conceptual Design for Guestrooms, Suites and Lounges for the Hotel towers. Total keys 1,500.

• Star World Casino, Macau.
Jin Men VIP Gaming Lounge. VIP gaming Lounge and bar.
Inagiku Japanese Restaurant. With Sake bar, VIP rooms.

• Interlaken Resort Hotel, Shenzhen.
A Swiss style village set in the mountains around Shenzhen, incorporating a 300 room 5 star hotel, with ballroom, 3 F&B outlets, Residential Chalets, Spa, Presidential Suite, a 50 room Presidential Castle and a 500 seat Opera House.

Interior Design for a 120 foot cruiser constructed by Horizon Yachts in Taiwan.

Franchise of the cable channel “Fashion TV” (ftv). Conceptual Design for new location in Macau, incorporating an open bar, multiple terraces and themed VIP rooms.

• M1NT: Exclusive Private Members Club. Hollywood Road, Hong Kong.
Originating from London, this is the second club in what the owner intends to be a worldwide brand.
